Plagiarism Policy

The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity, originality, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. All submitted manuscripts must represent original work and appropriately acknowledge the ideas, words, data, and findings of other researchers.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or iThenticate, where available. The editorial team evaluates similarity reports to determine whether the manuscript contains inappropriate overlap with previously published material.

Similarity scores are not used as the sole basis for determining plagiarism. Each report is assessed contextually by considering citations, quotations, references, methodology, and the nature of the similarities identified.

Forms of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes direct copying without attribution, improper paraphrasing, presenting another person's ideas as one's own, using figures or datasets without appropriate acknowledgment, and inappropriate reuse of previously published work.

Editorial Actions

If suspected plagiarism is identified, the editorial team may request clarification, require revisions, or reject the manuscript. Confirmed plagiarism in a published article may result in a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the severity of the case.

Authors are responsible for ensuring originality, accurate citation, and compliance with research and publication ethics.

The journal handles plagiarism cases in accordance with recognized publication ethics principles and relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
