UPAYA MENINGKATKAN SAINTIFIF PADA PEMBELAJARAN SENI TARI KELAS XI Di SMK NEGERI 1 KUOK KABUPATEN KAMPAR TAHUN 2021
Abstract
The scientific approach is a learning approach through scientific stages by producing students who are productive, creative, innovative, and affective through strengthening integrated attitudes, skills, and knowledge. There are problems experienced by students with previous dance arts, including learning that is still verbal. The problem studied is how to apply a scientific approach to dance learning in class XI IS 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok and what factors influence it. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of a scientific approach in learning dance in class XI IS 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok. The benefit of this research is as a reference for the application of the scientific approach.
This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that the application of a scientific approach to dance learning in Class XI IS 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok used 3 general stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage consisting of observing, asking, reasoning, trying, creating networks, and finally the evaluation stage. . Learning the art of dance passes through 3 (three) steps, namely introduction, core activity, and closing. The scientific approach also has supporting and hindering factors in its application which are divided from internal and external aspects.
Based on the results of the study, the suggestions that the author can give are to SMK Negeri 1 Kuok so that teachers need to adjust the time allocation, students must be more active in the teaching and learning process, and hold a special place for dancing so that the dance learning process is not disturbed by school events.
