Abstrak
Tiga senyawa kemosensor untuk mendeteksi anion sianida telah disintesis. Senyawa-senyawa ini merupakan turunan dari senyawa benzimidazol (S1) dengan substituen berbeda yang terikat langsung pada posisi 2 dari sistem cincin benzena. Substituen gugus Nitro memberikan struktur senyawa S2, gugus Azo memberikan struktur senyawa S5, dan gugus Azo-Nitro memberikan struktur senyawa S6. Rekognisi terhadap ion CN¯ dilakukan dengan melarutkan garam sianida dalam akuades (konsentrasi 1 x 10¯7 M dan konsentrasi hingga 8 ekivalen) dan meneteskan 50 μL ke dalam larutan Sensor/DMSO. Penentuan kbinding dihitung berdasarkan hasil analisis intensitas spektra instrumen UV-vis dan spectrometer berupa kurva Benesi-Hilderbrand dari larutan kompleks sensor-anion. Pengikatan yang paling bagus terhadap ion sianida adalah pada komplek S2- CNˉ: 2.6 × 106 Mˉ1.
