Abstract

ABSTRACT

Termination of employment is one thing that is avoided in a company, but it is difficult to avoid because every company or employee must have problems. The government in overcoming this matter changed the Job Creation Law to the Job Creation Perppu. The Job Creation Law and the Job Creation Perppu have many differences regarding the rights of employees to layoffs. The research methodology uses normative legal research with the data used, namely laws and regulations related to the issues raised as well as some news from print and electronic media from various journals. The results of this analysis process indicate a positive or negative impact. The Job Creation Perppu has had a positive impact on entrepreneurs to develop their businesses and expand their businesses. With this expansion, entrepreneurs including UMKM will continue to support the national economy. Meanwhile, the negative impact of the work copyright Perppu is not in accordance with the draft law and many of them serve the interests of the company and are considered detrimental to society, giving rise to pseudo-hyper-regulation..
