PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SCAN BARCODE BERBASIS ANDROID DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS

Abstract

Social studies learning in the world of education needs to get special attention, in general social studies learning is done through books and teacher delivery. So that student motivation is still lacking. Students now are generation Z who have a very high intensity of the use of information and communication technology. Many students have an Android-based mobile phone that can help students learn at home. The development and research aims to produce social studies learning media using barcode scanning applications that can be run on Android-based devices. The results showed that the learning media developed met the criteria very well, based on the results of the assessment of learning media experts which included several aspects including appearance, operations, interaction with an average of 3.68 Likert scale. So that it can be used by students to support independent learning at home. While the students' response to this learning media is very good to support learning at home which shows an average score of 3.64 on the Likert scale.
