Decision Support System Using The Method Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) For Digital Service Selection

Abstract

The Office of Communication, Informatics and Statistics (Kominfotik) of West Sumatra Province is the Office that is authorized to build and develop digital services for all Regional Apparatuses in the Provincial Government of West Sumatra. All Regional Apparatuses can submit requests for the development of digital services to the Kominfotik Office. However, not all digital services requested will be facilitated and accommodated by the Kominfotik Service. There are several selection criteria in the development of Digital Services, namely Digital Services that are in accordance with the National Electronic-Based Government System Architecture (SPBE), support the Superior Program for the Government of the Province of West Sumatra, Quick Win Services according to the SPBE Plan Map, the purpose of creating digital services, and the Programming Language used in Application development. This study uses the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method. The MAUT method is used to determine the selection of digital services to be built based on predetermined weights and criteria. Then a ranking process is carried out which will determine the priority choices. And from the test results it was found that the application of the MAUT method to the Decision Support System for selecting digital services resulted in an alternative that was a priority (rank 1) namely the New Student Acceptance Service (PPDB) with a value of 0.933.
