Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove the pollutants load from palm oil mill wastewater. The research location is in the Rokan River watershed through the Teluk Mega Village and Sidinginan Village, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Data collection was conducted during 2017-2018. The effect of wastewater on rivers is analyzed using the Mathematical model calculation method with the dispersion-affection model. Calculation of water pollution due to excess quality standards using parameters of wastewater refers to Regulation of Environmental Ministry of Indonesia Government No. 7/2014. The results of the analysis show the amount of water pollutant load during June 2017 - August 2018. For the COD parameter of 13,380 kg or 268 units, for the TSS parameter of 711 kg or 14 units. For oil and grase do not cause pollution load in the Rokan River.
