Analisis Perkembangan Motorik Siswa Kelas 6 di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Perkembangan motorik memiliki peran penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak dalam mendukung aktivitas fisik, sosial, dan akademik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan motorik siswa kelas 6 di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang aktif dalam kegiatan fisik, seperti ekstrakurikuler olahraga, memiliki keseimbangan, koordinasi, dan kelincahan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang cenderung kurang aktif dalam kegiatan fisik. Faktor internal seperti motivasi, serta eksternal seperti dukungan lingkungan, fasilitas olahraga, dan kebiasaan di rumah turut memengaruhi perkembangan motorik siswa. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan durasi pendidikan jasmani, minimnya fasilitas olahraga, dan kebijakan sekolah yang membatasi aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini menyarankan peningkatan durasi pendidikan jasmani, pengadaan fasilitas yang lebih memadai, dan pengembangan program ekstrakurikuler yang mendukung perkembangan motorik siswa secara optimal.
