Abstract

From the amount of Islamic attention to education, of course Islam has its own goals and reasons for this problem. Therefore, this paper will explain the purpose of Islam to get its people to pay attention to education. Where in describing it takes from the verses about the purpose of education, then explained by not taking from just one book of interpretation, but connecting from several books of interpretation. And also collect some hadith related to the purpose of education as further understanding of the objectives of education in Islam. In his analysis do not forget the views of Muslim scholars to be a comparison and enhancer of the study of Islamic education objectives. Likewise, various views of modern western education figures also make a comparison in the study of the educational objectives of the perspective of the Qu’ran.
