Merr) contain provitamin A and vitamin E, flavonoid, and ascorbic acid, which help hair growth. This study aims to determine the stability level of hair tonic preparations of ethanol extract from katuk leaves. The method used in this study is the cycling test method. This study made a hair tonic formulation with 2.5% ethanol extract of katuk leaves with a variation of 96% ethanol concentration of 35 ml and 10 ml. The stability parameters tested include organoleptic, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and homogeneity. The pH test results range from 4.4 to 5.3; this pH value follows the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The viscosity test ranged from 0.59-0.69; this pH value complies with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The specific gravity test results ranged from 1.02-1.04, and this particular gravity value was not the theory of specific gravity of hair tonic less than 1. The homogeneity test results showed that the hair tonic experienced precipitation and was not homogeneous. Furthermore, the hedonic test showed that the panellists preferred the negative control preparation, then the hair tonic preparation of katuk leaf ethanol extract with 96% ethanol variation of 60 ml and finally, the hair tonic preparation of katuk leaf ethanol extract with 96% ethanol variation of 35 ml.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 The Journal Of Pharmacy UMRI https://ejurnal.umri.ac.id/index.php/JFMu/article/view/5949 Rasionalitas Antibiotik Pasien Bronkitis Akut Anak Dengan Metode Gyssens Di RSIA Zainab Kota Pekanbaru 2024-01-29T10:03:52+07:00 Novtafia Endri novtafia.endri@umri.ac.id Ayu Rahmawati rahmawatiayu@umri.ac.id Noveri Rahmawati noverirahmawati@umri.ac.id Nabilla Fadhia Nesya 190205032@student.umri.ac.id
According to WHO, as many as 13 million children in the world die every year and most of these deaths are in developing countries, where ISPA is one of the main causes of death by killing as many as 4 million children each year. Bronchitis ranks 6th out of 10 causes of death. However, Indonesia still has no reports on exact figures regarding this disease. This study aims to determine the accuracy of the use of antibiotics in pediatric patients with acute bronchitis based on the Gyssens method at RSIA Zainab Pekanbaru City. This type of research was non-experimental with data collection using a purposive sampling technique retrospectively. The results of the study based on a qualitative evaluation of the use of antibiotics in pediatric acute bronchitis patients at RSIA Zainab Pekanbaru City using the Gyssens method showed the quality of rational use of antibiotics found that 64 patients were declared rational ( category 0) and 5 patients were declared irrational. If possible further research regarding the rationality of using antibiotics in pediatric acute bronchitis patients at RSIA Zainab Pekanbaru City can be carried out using the DDD method or with a prospective approach so that monitoring of the patient's condition progress can be carried out from day to day.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 The Journal Of Pharmacy UMRI https://ejurnal.umri.ac.id/index.php/JFMu/article/view/6683 Evaluasi Penggunaan Obat Antihipertensi Pada Pasien Hipertensi Primer Rawat Jalan Lanjut Usia Periode Januari 2022 – Juli 2023 Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau 2024-02-15T10:52:42+07:00 Nawar Irfan nawwar.irfan@umri.ac.id Ayu Rahmawati rahmawatiayu@umri.ac.id Nurbaiti nurbaiti@umri.ac.id Windy Aulia Fitri 190205004@student.umri.ac.id
Hypertension is a condition where the increase in systolic blood is above the normal limit, which is more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is more than 90 mmHg. The purpose of this study was to determine the sociodemographic relationship to the treatment outcomes of hypertensive patients and to examine patterns of antihypertensive drug use at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. The method used in this study was an observational descriptive method using retrospective data which was carried out by recording medical record data and the research subjects used in this study were outpatients with a diagnosis of hypertension with a total sample of 90 elderly patients. The results of this study showed that the most data on patient characteristics, namely female sex, amounted to 66 people (73.3%) and the most widely used drug class, namely amlodipine, was 76 patients (62.3%). On the results of the chi-square test with a significance value of p value = 0.05 for the relationship between age and gender for risk factors, the age value was p = 0.123 while gender had a p value = 0.000. It was concluded that the evaluation of antihypertensive drugs was 100% correct and showed that age and risk factors had no relationship, while gender had a relationship with risk factors.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 The Journal Of Pharmacy UMRI https://ejurnal.umri.ac.id/index.php/JFMu/article/view/6146 Analisis Manajemen Pengelolaan Obat di Gudang Farmasi Rumah Sakit X 2024-02-15T10:49:09+07:00 Ulfa Maulidi Arkan ulfamaulidiarkan@gmail.com Marian Tonis ulfamaulidiarkan@gmail.com Abdul Zaky ulfamaulidiarkan@gmail.com
Drug management is one of the most important parts of hospital management in the provision of health services as a whole, because inefficiency and inefficiency in management will have a negative impact on the hospital both from a medical, social and economic perspective. Based on the results of the document review, there are expired drugs in the Pharmacy Installation in 2021 where there are 4,454 expired drugs in the Pharmaceutical Warehouse, the Emergency Room and Inpatient Pharmacy Depots have 1,173 Expired Drugs and the Outpatient Pharmacy Depot has 2,180 expired drugs. Expired drugs in 2022 where there are 37,959 expired drugs in the Pharmaceutical Warehouse, , ER and Inpatient Pharmacy Depots have 6,582 expired drugs and Outpatient Pharmacy Depots have 31,852 expired drugs. The purpose of this study is to determine the Management of Drug Management in the Pharmacy Warehouse of the X Hospital. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive observation approach, with a total of 4 informants. This research was conducted using in-depth interviews, observation and document review methods. The results of the study found that drug planning uses the consumption method which is carried out every two months, the determination of the types of drugs in the procurement is adjusted to the National Formulary and is constrained by distributor receivables, the receiving process sometimes the goods that arrive do not match the invoice, and the storage is not up to standard, there is no Special room for expired drugs. It is recommended that the planning process use a combination of consumption and epidemiology methods so that empty drugs and over stock do not occur, the need for a special place for storing expired drugs, and expanding storage warehouses so that there is no more cardboard buildup.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 The Journal Of Pharmacy UMRI
