Penguatan Kapasitas Nelayan Dalam Pengolahan Dan Pemasaran Digital Untuk Meningkatkan Daya Saing Produk Cencaluk Sebagai Makanan Tradisional Khas Bengkalis
Abstract
This Community Service Program aims to increase the capacity and independence of the Joint Fishermen's Group of Kelapapati Laut Village, Bengkalis, in the processing and marketing of cencaluk products. Cencaluk is a traditional Bengkalis food made from fermented shrimp and has been passed down through generations, thus having both cultural value and high economic potential. There are three main focuses in this community service activity. First, training on meeting quality and hygiene standards in accordance with food processing standards. Second, mentoring on the use of cencaluk mixing machines is provided so that partners are able to operate appropriate technology to speed up the production process. Third, training on marketing strategies through the use of digital media and branding techniques to increase product competitiveness in local and international markets. The implementation methods include counseling, joint practice, and ongoing mentoring. The results of the activity show an increase in partners' knowledge regarding food quality standards, skills in using mixing machines, and understanding of effective marketing strategies. In addition, partners have been able to implement hygiene practices, utilize the equipment provided, and begin to develop a digital marketing network. Thus, this activity contributes to increasing the productivity, quality, and marketing opportunities for cencaluk as a regional specialty product.
