Sintesis dan Uji Sitotoksik senyawa Klorocalkon (E)-1-(2-klorofenil)-3-(4-metoksifenil)prop-2-en-1-on
Abstract
Chalcone is one of the secondary metabolites of flavonoids that can be found in plants. Chalcone compounds both natural and synthetic have been known to show a variety of biological activities such as antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer cytotoxicity, anticolera, anti-inflammatory, antitumor. In the study of the synthesis of chlorochalcone compounds was carried out by the method of scouring using a NaOH catalyst. The results obtained with the composition of chlorokalcon are (E) -1- (2-chlorophenyl) -3- (4-methoxyphenyl) prop-2-en-1-one requested based on melting point data, thin layer chromatography, and HPLC and the composition has been characterized by UV, IR and H-NMR spectroscopy. Cytotoxic activity was carried out using the Brine Shrimps Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The results showed a high cytotoxic chloroclocation activity with an LC50 value of 3.27 μg / ml and this composition was a positive anticancer as evidenced by its cytotoxic properties against Artemia salina Leach larvae with LC50 values <200 μg / ml
