Abstract

Communal Wastewater Treatment Plants, especially in the city range, already exists, such as in a densely populated area in neighborhood I, the range of the dragon, the
eastern range. Based on data sources from the central statistical body, it is known that the number of residents in the eastern city districts in 2014 was 72,267 people or 240,912
inhabitants / km and as many as 73,611 inhabitants or 244,005 inhabitants/km2 with an area of 301,678 km2 in 2016. With a total population of This increase is not directly proportional to sanitation services. From the results of a direct review conducted by the author, it was found problems in the communal wastewater treatment plant in the environment I of the Naga Range Kelurahan such as, visually it can be seen that the foaming water conditions and lack of clarity, then also found that many people who intend to use WWTP on the Environment I Kelurahan Kisaran Naga. Based on the technical guidelines for the construction of WWTP located in Environment I of Kisaran Naga Village in 2015, that the quality standard used was in reference to the Decree of the State Minister for the Environment No. 112 of 2003, which is the Domestic Wastewater Quality Standard. Condition of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Environment I Kisaran Naga Kelurahan in the outlet section shows a BOD value of 39.4 mg / l, while the Regulation set by the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia in 2016 has a BOD value standard of 30 mg / l , resulting in a difference of 0.94 mg / l. Therefore it must be added to the filter tub.
